Epsom salts are a mineral comprised of magnesium and sulfate. This is something many of us are deficient in due to our processed food diets. Since magnesium plays many roles within the body and can be absorbed through the skin, it is so effective in easing sore or cramping muscles, bruises, inflammation, and infections, just to name a few.

Add 2 cups of Epsom salts to your bath water or 1 cup to your foot bath, and bathe in it for 20 minutes allowing the magnesium to absorb into the pores. Other benefits of magnesium sulfate include prevention or ease of migraines reducing blood pressure, helping to form proteins in joints decreasing arthritis.

By bathing or soaking your feet in an Epsom salt bath added to warm water and soak for 20 minutes daily can help ease sore muscles and muscle cramps.

If anyone is looking for someone to optimize their website, I would strongly recommend Julie Bateman of Bateman Design Group at www.batemandesigngroup.com

Thank-you Julie!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!

I would like to take a moment of your time to let you know that I will be relocating my massage practice to 99 Bayfield St., at the corner of Bayfield and Worsley St., on the second floor, starting January 1st, 2019. Once a member of the Evergreen co-op massage therapy team, I have now opened my own business under the name Westwind Massage Therapy.  I would love for you to join me at my new location, where you will receive the same great massages, just in a beautiful new location.

I specifically chose this location downtown as this has been a convenient location for you to come for massages. Visitor Parking is free and is located at the back, off Worsley St.

I have spent the last several months planning and preparing for this new venture and am very excited for you to see what I have been creating!

My website is live, but will undergo a few changes over the next little while, including the booking page, so please bear with me.

The booking system is coming soon, so in the meantime if you would like to schedule an appointment with me for the new year you can contact me directly at info@westwindtherapy.com, or 705-627-2880.  Please let me know approximately when you would like to see me and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes.
